At The Ailey School, students follow a comprehensive and diverse dance curriculum with a foundation in ballet and courses in Graham (modern), Horton technique, jazz, and West African dance. Ailey/PPAS graduates attend such prestigious dance conservatories and colleges as the Juilliard School, North Carolina School of the Arts, Cal Arts, and The Ailey School/Fordham University BFA program. Ailey/PPAS program graduates have danced with such renowned companies as Stephen Petronio Company, Compania Nacional de Danza, Philadanco, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Waterwell offers a comprehensive study of acting and theatrical arts. The Drama curriculum includes four levels of Acting Technique, Voice and Speech, Movement, Dramatic Literature, Script Analysis, Theater History, Stagecraft, Ensemble, and Directing. The program offers classes to middle school, Drama and Musical Theater students.

School of American Ballet, founded by George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein, offers the finest classical ballet training available in the U.S. Students attend classes in ballet technique, pointe, variations, adagio, character, ballroom, music education, Pilates instruction and physical therapy education. SAB alumni fill the ranks of the New York City Ballet and other leading U.S. and international ballet companies.

Rosie’s Theater Kids, founded by actress and comedienne Rosie O’Donnell, provides instruction in Musical Theater. The Musical Theater program synthesizes theatre, music and dance fundamentals in the preparation of musical theater repertoire for performance. Courses include: Musical Theatre Scene Study, History of Musical Theatre, Music Theory and Ear Training, Vocal Technique, Audition Preparation and Theatrical Dance.
